Vegan Reuban

1/2 12 oz bottle IPA beer

1 Tb Vegan Worcestershire

1/2 tsp caraway seeds

3 splashes liquid smoke

1 package tempeh smoky maple bacon

1 1/3 cups sauerkraut

hot sauce to taste

vegan bread

olive oil

2 ripe avocados sliced

Preheat oven to 350.  Sear the vegan bacon 1-2 mins each side in a small skillet.

In a baking pan mix together the beer, worcestershire, caraway seeds and liquid smoke.  Add the slices of tempeh vegan bacon.  Bake for 25-30 mins covered.

While polishing off the other 1/2 of the the IPA, spread dijon mustard on inside of two slices of bread for each sandwich, then 1/3 cup of sauerkraut followed by 1/2 an avocado sliced and a touch of hot sauce to taste, on each sandwich.  When the vegan bacon is done, put 3-4 slices on each sandwich.

Rub baking dish with olive oil and bake for 5-7 mins, til warmed through.  Yummm!
